Kate Illustrator Portfolio
Kate is a Fashion Illustrator who creates custom commissioned projects for individuals and brands around the world, in addition to illustrating live for events.
Formally trained in Fashion Design and Art History from Columbia College Chicago she graduated at the top of her class in 2012. She has been illustrating full time since then, and is currently based in Central Florida, but has been commissioned around the world for illustration projects, and travels the country for live events. Some of the clients she has worked with include Jimmy Choo, Salvatore Ferragamo, Escada, Ted Baker London, Alice + Olivia, the Pittsburgh Steelers, the Four Seasons Hotel & Spa, Nic + Zoe, Vionic, Le Chateau, Hamilton Jewelers, LaCroix, and L’Oreal. She has also been published in multiple magazines and online publications.
Kate has the ability to work in a variety of media in order to tailor each project to the client while maintaining her style throughout. Her illustrations aim to capture the elegance, beauty, and confidence of the human form. She finds inspiration within historic illustration, nature, and modern art. Having a proficient understanding of colour theory, textiles, construction, fit, and concept design allow her to successfully illustrate technically accurate designs as well as representational creative fashion figures. A few of her favourite things include formal, bridal, and accessory illustration in marker or digital media, but she loves working with new clients’ ideas in any aspect that may incorporate fashion illustration.
