Review:

With a vibrantly detailed mandala illustration of the king of the jungle, the cover of the book made me buy it and then upon opening it, I figured it is actually one of the best mandala colouring books I have seen to date.

This book contains unique images of your favourite birds and animals and the pages are single-sided to prevent bleed-through, and also so that pages can be removed and displayed without losing an image on the back.

The whole colouring book is an alternation between more complex colouring pages and simpler pages for every skill level; The pages are a nice, large 8.5×11 size and the extra-thick paper makes it suitable for markers, coloring pencils, gel pens, fine lines, and watercolours.

General Information About Mandala colouring books

There are different kinds of mandala colouring books available in the stores. If you love flowers, the flower mandalas colouring book is obviously the best option for you. But let’s not forget the other options, like the animal mandalas, or the geometric ones.

Mandalas are generally circular designs symbolizing the universe in Hindu and Buddhist traditions. In simple terms, a mandala is a spiritual and ritual symbol in Hinduism and Buddhism, representing the universe. The basic form of most mandalas is a circle in which are depicted symbolic gateways, sometimes representing the body of the deity.

A mandala colouring book is a book containing various interesting, fun, beautiful images which are meant to be coloured. Often colourists use them as a way to reduce stress and anxiety. Though it was popular amongst children, now adults have colouring books too.

Sounds all dreamy, right? However, if you aren’t careful enough, you might end up with a bad colouring book experience. There are some poor-quality prints and books which aren’t worth the price.

Before buying, check out reviews. Look for premium quality pages and spiral-binding books with perforated pages. One important thing to notice is if the book has single images on each page. Make sure to check what colour media you can use on the designs. However, there is no wrong way in coloring mandala designs, so get started today and simply give it a try.

There is a wide range of themed colouring books for all ages. Choose whatever helps you with relaxing and melt away that stress.

Conclusion / Roundup

Colouring books for adults are often recommended for relaxation. However, there are pages of mandala images that are intricate and can help with increasing focus. If you are looking for stress-relieving colouring books, mandala books are the best. Mandalas are creative drawings that are repeated in a circular manner.

To colour, these wonderful sacred circles with your favorite color combinations are just the best activity to polish the skills of your inner artist.

Now, you might think, why color mandalas? Well, choosing colors is easier for mandalas than for other types of illustrations. The symmetry of mandalas takes a lot of the indecision out of picking colors. When you color a part of a mandala, the symmetry means there are probably corresponding portions that should be the same color.

It’s easy to start coloring a mandala due to its symmetry. However, I love to start coloring a mandala from the center. Coloring mandalas is completely up to you if you want to color with a certain color or with colored markers. Mandalas help to de-stress. It works as an easy removal of work pressure and is very helpful for people who can’t focus.

Overall, mandalas feature some amazing symmetrical beauty that can be suited to any color theory. Also, mandala coloring books for adults can be a wonderful gift and helpful for those in need.
